Plastics Multiform SAS, fulfilling its role of social responsibility has participated as suppliers of the bags used in the paper recycling program "Yo Reciclo", carried out by Banco Popular and the Center for Agricultural and Livestock Development (CEDAF), as well as collaborators in the program for recycling plastic bottles "3R's Escolar", executed by the Cervecería Nacional Dominicana and the CEDAF.

​Company manages to reduce waste by more than 40%

In Multiform Plastic, the waste reduction plan has been successful

​

SANTO DOMINGO. Plástico Multiform, a company dedicated to the processing of plastics, reduced its waste by more than 40%, and by almost 50%, the use of water in its production processes.

​

A report from the company explains that the result is a direct result of the 3Rs program (Reuse, reduce and recycle) promoted by the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD), in conjunction with the Center for Agricultural and Forestry Development ( Cedaf).

The information was provided by Circe Almánzar, executive vice president of the AIRD, who pointed out that in the environmental aspects the state regulations are important, but the company that aspires to differentiate itself from its competitors and add greater value to its products "is called to take these state regulations as a minimum, "and be willing to give" an extra mile "in commitments and quality standards.
